In The Spotlight: Chef Of The Month
We’re very excited to announce the start of our new "Chef of The Month" program. Every month we will work with a local guest chef to create one delicious recipe for us.

Our first "Chef Of The Month" is Lyle Davis. As a co-founder of the natural and gourmet grocery chain Alfalfa’s Markets and too many Rock-n-Roll bands to count, Lyle has more than 27 years of experience in the food world. He and his "true food" recipes have appeared in Sunset, 5280 Magazine, Mr. Food’s Easy Cooking, The Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, and on The Bobby Flay Show on The Food Network. When he’s not in the kitchen, he’s organically farming. Lyle currently owns Big Bang Catering and Pastures of Plenty farms in Boulder County. From The Kitchen
We still have the following meals from last month’s menu in our freezer: Sesame Chicken Edamame Bowl, Sesame Tofu Edamame Bowl, White Bean & Sausage Ragout, Mushroom Pot Roast, Rosemary Lemon Chicken, and Honey lime Chicken.

These meals are still available online today, or you can pick them up by dropping by our kitchen at 2690 28th Street or order them over the phone (303–440–3828). Get ’em before they’re gone!


Also In The Spotlight: New "What’s Fresh" Blog
We recently added a blog to our website to keep you up to date on which meals from our menu we have fresh each day (Wednesday through Saturday). It’s a great tool. We post what’s fresh the night before, so have a look to see what will be available fresh the next day.

In addition to knowing what’s fresh, the blog is also a great place to find out other news about The Organic Dish. You can find the blog on our website at www.theorganicdish.com/blog or by navigating to "About > Blog."

New May Menu Now Available
Our new May menu is now available. Besides Chef Lyle Davis’ wonderful Rosemary Lamb Chops it features Shrimp with Arugula and Couscous, Beef Goulash with Spaetzle, Tofu Cashew Stirfry, Cincinnati Chili, Spaghetti Squash with Tofurkey, Fricase De Pollo, and more. Yum!

Did You Know?
We can work with different dietary requirements to customize your meals. We can, for example, make almost any meal on our menu gluten free. We have recently found gluten free beer we like, so we can now make recipes like the Fricase De Pollo gluten free. We also have rice pasta (including spaghetti), so don’t hesitate to order our Cincinnati Chili (or other pasta dishes) and ask us to make it gluten free.

Why Didn’t We Think Of That?
Rick and Deana from Denver and Carol from Boulder (and probably others) suggested that it would be nice to add additional veggie side dishes to our meals. We’re not quite there, but we’re working on it. We expect to announce the availability of veggie sides around the middle of May – stay tuned.
