Hey! Thanks for the post! Yes, it is to bad about Essentials... but hope is not yet lost! We have about a week and a half left before the doors shut forever. Tell your friends, send them to saveessentials.com, tell them to get out there and buy a starter kit. Thanks again for helping out the cause!

Good post - it's so true - I'm off to buy some of the Essentials cleaners right after work so I can test them out cleaning the house tonight. It's a shame to see something good (or great) disappear because the few who knew about it and loved it didn't tell everyone they knew about it.

Here's some products that I love and would like to pass the word on!

Dr. Hauschka Facial Toner - ~$32 - http://www.drhauschka.com - I really dig this toner. It lasts forever and I use it in place of lotion at night and haven't used facial lotion for ~ 3 years at night. Dr. Hauschka products are paraben free and don't smell (aka stink!). I'm in and out of the bathroom so quick at night. I also appreciate that they don't buy into the theory that there are 11 steps to healthy skin care... It's a German product and not certified organic, but most of their ingredients are grown "bio-dynamically" on site and without herbicides/pesticides.

Whole Foods Pink Grapefruit Body Scrub - ~$20 for 16 ounces- I don't use body lotion anymore either. This is a certified organic (salt can't be certified organic) bodyscrub and doesn't contain parabens or phthalate(endocrine disrupters). It doesn't smell strong (just lightly of grapefruit) and leaves your skin soft.

Goddess Garden Ginger Apricot Oil Body Scrub (http://www.goddessgarden.com) - ~$13 for 12 ounces - This is another great body scrub that uses organic ingredients. I recently met the owners and this is a special holiday product not listed on their website. This has more salt/sugar and is less oil based than the WF Body Scrub and seems like more of a treat. I really don't dig smelly stuff, but this has a really wonderful light ginger - almond smell.
