We took 5 Large!
We competed in the 8th Annual Bard Center Business Plan Competition on Wednesday, June 10th, took 2nd place and won $5,000 and some in-kind consulting services. As you can imagine, we were super excited! We finally put a down payment on that freezer we’ve been trying to get for the past couple weeks!

So – who beat us? Justin Perkins from Olomomo Nut Company. Olomomo aspires to be the foremost high-end, all natural and organic nut brand with its kettle-roasted nuts, coated with original and unexpected exotic spice and flavor blends. Olomomo will initially distribute through specialty coffee shops across America to conscious consumers who crave quality, delicious, high- protein, socially responsible products. BUT, until you can find these delicious and nutritious nuts in your favorite coffee shop, you can buy them online or at the Boulder Farmers Market.
So, Justin rents The Organic Dish kitchen nights and weekends to roast his nuts. Do you think that we should raise his rent or would that just make us look like sore losers?!
