Chef Ian Clark from Centro Latin Kitchen is our Chef of the Month and his recipe is the FANTASTIC Sopa Azteca.  The broth is amazing, the slow roasted chicken is perfect and moist, the asadero cheese melts smoothly over the tortilla chips.  It’s pretty incredible.  This month, Centro is including a coupon for a FREE Huevos Rancheros weekend brunch at Centro in all of the Sopa Azteca orders from The Organic Dish.

Toby and I went to brunch (Saturday and Sunday 930am – 1130am) last weekend to check out the happs in the place and to redeem a breakfast coupon (how could we resist not using it?).  It was the bomb, the perfect place for a lazy Sunday brunch.  We had a dinner party the night before that went way too late with way too much wine and we were ready for breakfast happy hour to cure the pains that illed us!

Centro has a breakfast HAPPY HOUR!  How awesome is that.  The atmosphere is very cool and casual with all sorts of peeps dining there.  $2 bloody marys and mimosas all day AND a breakfast happy hour menu.  I had an AMAZING and huge breakfast for $8 (2 breakfast taco’s – $2 each; 1/2 a carmelized grapefruit – $2; and sauteed greens – $2).  I don’t know of a cooler breakfast out there and so affordable and yummy.
