The Organic Dish provides easy and delicious, healthy, natural and organic "make-your-own" meals and dinner kits for vegetarians and omnivores in Boulder, Colorado.

Shipping

Just because you don’t live in Denver or Boulder, or because you go on vacation doesn’t mean you’ll have to forgo the convenience and good taste of our organic dinner meals. We ship our meals throughout the lower 48 states.

Cost

We currently ship our organic meals in 6-meal boxes and charge a flat rate of $45 per box. So it makes the most sense to order meals in 6-meal increments (i.e. 6, 12, or 18 rather than 3, 7, or 13) to spread the shipping cost over the most meals. This way the cost per serving will increase by less than $2 compared to locally picked up or delivered meals.

Environmentally Friendly Shipping Materials

We ship all of our orders in special insulated containers with dry ice using FedEx® or DHL® and we try to make our shipping materials as environmentally friendly as possible:

• The corrugated cardboard boxes are recyclable.
• The insulation we use is made of 7 different types of rocks which are crushed, heated to 2800° Fahrenheit, and converted to fiber. No hazardous gases are produced during or after completion of the manufacturing process. The insulation will crush to approximately one-fifth its original size. It is environmentally safe and void of any hazardous organic material.
• The plastic lining is FDA Grade laminated plastic glued together with an environmentally friendly glue.
• The peanuts we use are FDA Grade biodegradable starch. Just put them in water and they’ll dissolve (it’s fun to do with your kids. You can also get the peanuts a little wet to make them sticky and then make shapes and figures with your kids).

Transit Times

Transit times range between 1 and 4 days (take a look at the shipping map below for information on your location) and your meals will arrive frozen.
